Now Hiring: Safety Observers All Shifts
Location: South Charleston, WV
Pay: $16-$20 per hour, based on experience and background
United Talent Staffing, is seeking observant, dependable individuals to support the plants Safety Department. This position involves walking the production floor, documenting safety concerns, and preparing reports to help maintain a safe work environment.
Job Duties: Walk the plant floor to observe work practices and identify safety concerns.
Record safety violations, incorrect personal protective equipment (PPE) usage, unsafe acts, and unsafe conditions.
Document observations clearly, accurately, and objectively.
Prepare and submit a report to the safety team at the end of each shift.
Promptly communicate urgent safety concerns to the appropriate safety or supervisory personnel.
Follow all plant safety rules and required.
PPE guidelines.
Requirements: Strong attention to detail and commitment to following rules and procedures.
Good organizational skills and the ability to prepare clear written reports.
Ability to communicate professionally and respectfully with employees and management.
Dependability and the ability to work independently.
Ability to walk and stand for extended periods throughout a manufacturing facility.
Military, law enforcement, security, safety, or other experience in a structured, procedure-focused environment is helpful but not required. Candidates with transferable skills are encouraged to apply.
