Role Description This seasonal, on-site / hybrid Tax Preparer role is based in Fort Collins, CO. The Tax Preparer is responsible for preparing individual and small business tax returns, reviewing supporting documentation, and ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local tax laws. Day-to-day tasks include gathering and organizing client financial information, analyzing financial statements, identifying applicable deductions and credits, and resolving basic tax questions. The role also involves communicating with clients to clarify data, explain tax outcomes, and provide guidance on future tax planning. The Tax Preparer will collaborate with other team members to maintain accurate records, meet filing deadlines, and support continuous process improvements.
